S1 External door handles

I have re-assembled my doors but the external handles are not completely intact (broken return spring thingies) although still functioning.
I gave up looking for a past topic on the search engine hence this new topic.
I understand from various comments that these external door handles were sourced from a Capri. Is this true.
Has anyone located a source for replacements ?
Maybe Hans knows of some ?

You can try bodging with extra springs ( ) or they can be mended................ clicky



PS does the tag have to be alloy, would some stainless steel be ok? ....
