V8V Susupension

I have been told by AM that DB9 suspension will fit a V8V apart from the weights of the vehicles are different so there may be a slight variance in set up. Reason I ask is that I have been offered a set to replace mine which are faulty/worn.
Has anyone fitted a set from a DB9 to a V8V and what are the pros and cons?
