231st. Kind of irrelevant though as I think we got the best we could from our circumstances, which makes me happy. Ironically, despite being cheeky to get into an earlier wave I think we needed to be earlier still or a bit later, with the faster guys who eventually settled in our bunch. That slow pace over the first 1/3 was decisive, I think.

The bloke who finished second has scored 4 points as a 3rd cat in the last two seasons, and he races a fair bit by the looks, these results mean nothing given there are two strong riders I know behind him!

According to the results I was 231st, I could have tried harder I suppose but I'll take that wink

Spreadsheet deffo short by a huge chunk - no way only 16196 people finished the event, out of 25,000 starters. TfL wouldn't have enough broom wagons even if they chipped in =)

Anyways, finishing time histogram. I tried making them for splits, but there's thousands of gaps int there where presumably the rider's chip didn't get read by the beepy strip jobby.

I think the A-Z had everyone on it but the position only went to the top 18,000 or so. I was 16000 odd, top 64% by my calculations! rofl
