I have just booked on the phone. Tim at:

www.easytrack.co.uk/homepage.asp

...says there are 8 places left and there are 35 Porkers going, most of which are RSs or similar. I think it's going to fill quickly, so get your skates on!

Edited to say....I DID mention you name, Melv, as you wanted us to do in an earlier thread about this. Tim said it was a shame I did as this puts the price up......

I bloomin well hope so. There is beggar all tread left on my Dunlop Supersport Race tyres. I am also somewhat apprehensive as this will be my first time on track in this particular car......and Oulton is pretty hairy-arsed.

Back to 8, as pretty sure I gotta pull out, if you've not booked this one yet & want to go, can you do me a massive massive favour & buy the Alex Sharp place off Easytrack, as helpfully they dont give a refund unless they can sell your place on.

Thanks in advance

Lizard.

Strange attitude, have you asked them?

And what is your feeble reptilian excuse -and not having a car is NOT acceptable!! You've got trainers haven't you???

With a month to go, I'm sure they will have no probs filling that space.

Forty two Porkers last year, can we equal that, at least??

Melv- yeh sorry had to cancel, thought there would be some quick stuff going, but found out lots of 911s & couldnt face all those slow old beetles slowing me down :joke joke joke:!!!

Yeh it shoudnt be an issue being a month away & tickets selling like hot cakes, plus I do know the esteemed Mr Merkin man & all that, but yes I asked when I booked ref the situation on refunds & ive read the T&Cs, but 4 weeeks or less & lady said they dont normaly refund ya dosh unless they re-sold the ticket on.

So going O/t a bit but I've been with EZ before & yes decent well run operator & all that, but I'm not really a fan of that refund policy, ring up & cancel a day or so before- then ok loose ya dosh perhaps, but I reckon for say 14+ days ahead there should be no question about a refund & even a later cancellation say 7 day= def a credit against a later day.

Think £40 for an additional driver sucks a bit too really, why the extra cost?

Anyway hopefuly I'll sort somat out at Oulton for later in the yr.
