Reverse Gear hard to engage/disengage on 981

Had my BGTS now just over a year and completed 7,000 fun miles, only problem I keep having is with reverse gear.
On many occasions it will not go into reverse gear and needs a real pull of the gear lever to get across and other times when in reverse gear you cannot pull the gear lever out.
Took it to my local OPC at about 3 months from new they could not replicate the problem and they said not seem the problem before and to get more miles on the car.
If it was the gear linkage I would have thought that it would happen every time but it does not, anyone else having/had a similar problem before I call back my OPC?
