Hey guys,

Had a google of this but can't find the answer.

If an Aston Martin is being sold by an independent dealer, and the car still has extended warranty remaining, is it transferable to the new owner? By this I mean, the car is now owned by the dealer.

It's a question to help my dad out, I know with Porsches in the same situation it's not transferable - so would like to know about an Aston!

Also, less important question, I'm assuming if an Aston is less than 3 years old, the original warranty is transferable no matter who sells it?

Thanks a lot!

Yes it can be. The seller I bought from still had some remaining when I bought mine and I managed to transfer it very easily to my name (and then subsequently use it to get things repaired).

I was told today by a dealer that its only transferrable from owner to owner. Not from Dealer to new owner. If AM dealer then they have to re apply and if independent car dealer then its not transferrable.

I bought my car privately and transferred the warranty with no problems.
