It might be the perspective, but it looks completely out of proportion.

That's 'Plasticmans' car.

Seen it several times, most recently at Millbrook, and while it's not something I'd have done it looks well proportioned and 'works' because they're both curvy cars and the two styles don't 'shout' at each other.

I still don't understand why anyone would do it when the Griff front end is more attractive (IMO) and better proportioned. Still, takes all sorts!

From a personal point of view, I think that every TVR model looks stunning in their own right, the Griffith especially. What you do when you 'bastardise' these icons, is ruin them, not only that, but I suspect heavily devalue the car too, no matter how professional the carried out was done.

Of course, if you intend to keep the car forever, I guess it doesn't matter so much...

It is all down to personal taste, this was the first take on a tuscan convertible when it wasn't available, a few years later it was made in a similar form by the factory.

At the time the s6 was having problems and not as reliable as now, someone might have wanted a v8. Didn't like the dash etc.

Was it a crashed car and needed a front end anyway?

It is just a personal choice, I quite like it.
