But it is my birthday on Monday 24th August and I plan to spend it at Cadwell Park with Javelin, thanks to the lovely Lorraine, to whom I am related by marriage.
So if any of you TVR guys fancy it, then post on here and book up reasonably soon. About 30 spaces left.
Great circuit, 2.1 miles, 15 corners and lots of up and down too. £149 with Javelin.
I can accommodate some of you who live further away and want to travel over the night before, as I have 3 double guest rooms. BBQ Sunday evening at mine too, all welcome. I live 1/2 a mile off the A1, near Newark, and about 40 miles from the track. Big garden, if more come and want to camp/motor home it.
GrahamN (gold Cerbera), who some of you know, and a Chim driver called Alex Pieri , who is new to me, are already booked on.

May the sun shine brightly on your day at Curborough and the times tumble.
I have a theory that, as you are always running on cold tyres, you might do better on road tyres than 888s.
My fastest time at Santa Plod was done on standard road fare, not 888s.
Next time I come to Curborough I will bring both and compare.

They give instant grip on the road when cold but I am always aware of the lack of adhesion from the Triple 8s when they are stone cold.
We shall see.
If it rains, I'll be using neither!
I'd offer you my road tyres, which are on 17 inch wheels, but of course they are 4 stud, not 5.
It does occur to me to wonder if Ian has any ordinary road tyres? He lives quite near Curborough, as he never fails to remember when he is somewhere else
