Turbo Chim Exhaust Gaskets keep blowing

My newly turboed chim has blown two sets of exhaust manifold gaskets in less than 400mls. I have new Act manifolds fitted, the gaskets are tvr power ones, any body had any similar experiences or any bright ideas. Taking the manifolds off is getting a bit expensive @ 6 hrs labour eack time!

Maybe you need the manifolds skimmed and squared up.
Try the John Eales ones. They work for me on nitrous

Had the manifolds skimmed after the first set blew, that's why I am miffed it had all blown again, i will look into the John eales ones.

What turbo, what exhaust housing on the turbo, what boost pressure is it making, what EGTs, what ignition system?

I'd be looking at exhaust gas temperature if boost pressures upwards of 10psi (say) are being achieved, and at ignition advance/retard (gas temps rise as advance is taken out to suppress/prevent detonation on boost).

Still look at the above but if nothing outrageous happening, maybe do away with the laminated gaskets and run the manis straight onto the heads with a good HT silicone to seal (yes, really). If the rear ports are where the blowing occurs, be aware the fasteners here will back off for the fun of it. Properly tighten (difficult given the access) and lockwire

Could you use the range rover mls gaskets? You'd probably have to open them up a fair bit. Clamp them down with studs and nuts.

If you have bolts rather than studs and nuts, and with having the manifold skimmed, is there a chance the bolts are bottoming before fully clamping the manifold i.e. now too long?

All sorted, now running metal to metal with a smear of HT silicone.
