Thinking of importing a GT3RS

I would so like to own one if these cars...but as we know the UK allocation has already. So looking into Europe and there are a few cards already available and so far for top spec cars the price with the favourable exchange rates are £200,000, which is £50k over list.

Has anyone bought from europe? the car I'm looking at is an EU Edition...and has full specification.

I have been offered a UK car but the price was well over £300,000!!

Don't forget the 20% VAT on the purchase price when importing if the car is less than 6 months old.

I suspect once deliveries have started in earnest that you will be able to get one around 50-60 over.

You can claim back any sales tax (VAT equivalent) (if paid) from the supplying dealer though. So in most EU countries, you'll be net flat in terms of the overall purchase price.
