Walkinshaw Hi Flow cats......

Anyone know, out of curiosity, how many cells the Walky cats are? MOT is due in the next few weeks. Any of the other Teessider's on here have a particular testing place they use? Was thinking of either Ian Kerr Motors in Thornaby (Drag racer), or A19 Test and Tune. Cheers..

TBH, I would suggest AAS in Newcastle, they use a local testing station near by, so they must be up to Stewarts standard.
However....I have my Monaro booked in to Sherwoods of Stockton on Monday, as they are on the door step.
As Vauxhall dealers go they are pretty good. I have used them for around 14 years, and they know how particular I am!!!!!!!
I have been trying to get hold of a Vauxhall service card without success, but when I spoke to them about it they gave me a discount on an MOT anyway.
If you want you can say, John, with the black Monaro said you might do a half price MOT...worth a go....tell then you tried to get a service card but had trouble on the Vauxhall website, it was down a couple of days ago anyway.

I forgot to mention that my car is fitted with 100 cell cats, and has had no problems in that department.

Cheers for that John.....I was at A.A.S. yesterday for a service and I did think about getting it done at the same time, but I wasn't sure if it'd all get done in one day, because they like to have the car all day just for a service. Next time I will though.

I have full walkinshaw system headers/cats/exhaust plus a cam and tune from Monkfish and mine walked the emissions in the local place so I suspect you'll be fine wherever.

Same as mine basically (mines got a Walkinshaw cam), i'll stop worrying about it now! Cheers Paul.

Nothing to worry about, passed with no advisories. Took it to A19 Test and Tune.
