190K mile DB9 on eBay

Private sale, but not written as if being sold by the owner... Ebay logo says "Aston Workshop", quick google suggests a dealer with lots of POA stock.
Good spot.Beamish is where Aston Workshop is, location of the car.
Makes one wonder why it is not being sold through their business. They will know for sure what the gearbox issue is. I can see it costing more than £2000 to fix.
i am not sure that any of the independent warranty companies would back it with that mileage and for a dealer i am sure by law they must give a warranty.
i think expensive for what it is even at that price. 2k turns into 5k for a gearbox and with 190k on it when will the engine finally give up the ghost and you then could be looking at 10k again and what are you left with. a 200k+ db9 owing more than Greece
for that money you could buy a pretty sensible DB7 that would be worth the same if not more next year

Agree - this seems like a little fiddle. If it's sold by 'Bob' and not the dealer, there's no obligation to offer a warranty. My guess is that the dealer has taken this in and now can't shift it or isn't prepared to offer warranty. i think expensive for what it is even at that price. 2k turns into 5k for a gearbox and with 190k on it when will the engine finally give up the ghost and you then could be looking at 10k again and what are you left with. a 200k+ db9 owing more than Greece

Chris
I wouldn't touch it, one because the car looks like its not been looked after, two, the price, three the advert and pictures are awful. There isn't even a hint of a warranty because its a private sale. Anyone buying this might need some deep pockets to pay for repairs and just to get it to a decent condition. (This car needs a lot of attention, love and care, as it looks like it hasn't had any!!)
Like someone said, a decent DB7 for this price would be a better bet, or even, think how much it would cost to get this somewhere near decent, add it to the cost price of this car and go and buy a decent V8V, because that's how much extra I think it would cost.
