156 intermittant stalling

i have an alfa 156 that has an annoying problem of intermittatly stalling when slowing down to junctions ect. it is a 1999 model with the semi auto box. have had my local garage look at it but they can not find a fault.can any one help please?

Hi, 8RT Robert. I take it that your 156 is a Selespeed? If so, Alfa has done 4 (I think) software upgrades to help exactly the problem you describe.
I think if so, then your only solution is to go to the dealer.
