I know wheels have been discussed a lot but I couldn't find a definitive answer in previous topics

I've been waiting for 3 months on my wheels i've ordered and yesterday got an email that they haven't even started production yet.
So it's going to be at least another 45 days but realistically it would be another 2-3 months. which is ridiculously long.
My spiders are buckled so bad I can't even drive her anymore.

So i'm looking for another set and found something I liked.
but only available in 18x8 and 18x9.5
But will a 9.5" wheel fit at the back of a Cerb without modifying the rear arches?
and would it rub the inner or outer arch? or the strut?

The rears have an offset of 36 or 44

With a offset of ET36 means they'll be 6.7mm closer to the suspension strut and the outer rim will poke out 18.7mm more than before

ET44 offset means they'll be 14.7mm closer to the suspension strut and outer rim will poke out 10.7mm more than before

Sooo… think it'll fit??

I run 17x9 rears with a 45mm offset and 255/40 Yoko AD08s which have quite a square sidewall, these rubbed on one side at Millbrook. I think you might get away with it but it will depend on the tyres you choose.

I am running 9.25" et36 on my 4.2, with a 255 tyre.. They do kiss the inner (outer) arch a tiny bit under compression, but my camber is also out a little. Going to get it geo'd and see how it is. Doesn't do it enough to bother me though.

17" flavour btw.

Hmm interesting.
The 9,5" wheels et44 would stick out an extra 7mm compared steve's but would stick out 5mm less as Jhonno's

So it'll probably work with the right tire but that's a bloody expensive gamble...

That's all good info. My SP12s 18x8(F)ET:42 and 18x9(R)ET:35 absolutely perfect.

Always thought my rear stood high, but was confirmed that's how factory ran the original spiders setup (I swapped for SP12s) as lower set rear have had problems as discussed on her. (Speed 6 2000) with toyo proxies T1

What year is your Cerb? I think the later ones had modified rear hubs to suit Spiders and would give you extra clearance.. (IIRC)
