Alloys i need help
Discussion
Hi all, I am very close to finishing off the outside of my first ever tvr restoration project, im going to be turning my attention to the rest of the engine very soon when the winter months begin.
I have a slight issue with my back drivers side alloy, it seems the owner before me gave it a serious clump and it is buckled from the hub, ive been told its a no go for fixing it ( I have had the alloys returned from a horrible dusty grey to a really nice new finish and the guy who did them also fixes alloys)
massive long shot but getting hold of this type of alloy (picture attached)is near impossible so does anyone have a spare for sale
or if not does anyone have someone who san straighten it out but it is bent from the hub so im told.
thanks
Ollie

It is the "normal" OZ 8-spoke and the odd individual ones do come up. Try Pristine Wheels to see if anything can be done with your existing ones. http://pristinealloywheels.co.uk/contact/
Hi Olle, I dont know from your profile if you are in the north or south. If in the north, then the Wheel Repair Centre at Bamber Bridge near Preston will give you an absolute yes or no on the old wheel. They have some very good plant to straighten and heat treat a wheel.
As far as sources go, if nobody on this forum knows of one then you may just have to wait until someone changes their wheels and wants to sell one. In the meantime it may mean running a different pattern/same spec wheel.
Good luck.
