Nikon D70 with lens kit for £532?
Discussion
Surely this can't be right? www.dabs.com have the D70 with 28-80mm Nikkor lens kit for £632 in VAT. What with the new £100 cash back (or is it £50 on this package) that would make it an absolute bargain, no?
Just noticed that www.cameras2u.com are doing the same deal £2 cheaper.
I have limited knowledge about the subject matter, but I take it that the 18-70mm is the more desirable lens seen as it is £757 (before discount) for this kit.

i bought the 18-70 package and bought the 28-80 lens as a backup. Compared to the 18-70 it's simply poo.
All the reading i've done says that the lens is the wrong place to save money - you're much better off with a lower quality body and good glass!
FYI - the 28-80 lens doesn't even have manual focus....

Infact Warehouse express are doing the 28-80 lens for £30... That says a lot I guess!
warehouse express
So you could buy the body for £579.99 from Park Cameras, get your £50 cashback, and then get the lens for £30, making a grand total of £559... But I would go for the 18-70 if I were you!
