After an informal, authentic Italian in the West End with the option to book for a Saturday night. Any thoughts?

I've only ever heard good things about Sartoria on Savile Row. I'm not sure it necessarily fits the informal brief but the set menus look pretty good value.

There is a nice slightly quirky Italian just off the Aldwych beside Covent Garden. The two guys used to run a great little sandwich bar two doors along.

Fabulous 'different' Italian. Great buzz in the evenings and well worth consideration. I had Lamb heart ragu for lunch recently which I would eat until I burst!

This is no tacky italian chain fayre..... And as far from the typical west end italian - but still very relaxed and informal.

You may have guessed; I'm a fan!

This is my favourite Italian. I have taken many clients and friends there. Totally authentic Italian. Your bum hits the seat and shortly thereafter you will be delivered a plate of olives and a plate of parmesan to nibble on whilst you make your choices. Incredible food. Try the (staple Italian dish) spaghetti alio olio e pecorrocino. It's basic but very very tasty! Pizza's are good too. All servings are very plentiful. I have been limoncello'd there quite a lot too! Enjoy!!
