Surely you'd go for a Rolls or Bentley if you're being driven! smile

I will be the last person in England to buy a fully electric or autonomous car the only exception to this is if one will drive me back pissed from the pub and be fully responsible if it runs a child over.

Nobody would be a self-driving sports/GT. All cars will be pretty much identical once they are self-driving.

Surely this is the way the next GT3 will go. 991 drivers hail the paddles because they provide quicker lap times by cutting the time it takes to change gears, so drivers can focus on braking and steering. I would have thought the evolution of this kind of thinking would be a self steering, self braking, self driving car. It would be much quicker around a track than any human can be, allow drivers to focus solely on sports chrono stop watch, which is all that matters. There can't be a flaw in that thinking can there?

Silly. Why not all buy a share in a virtual supercar that laps the 'Ring constantly (well, does simulated laps online) and tweets updates on its times? We could have a special Porsche phone and a t-shirt saying "Porsche Ring Job"
