Am watching it and they seem to be banging on about speed and thats it, then ou get a copper on and they list all the things they can't catch. The tone to me says that speed kills.
The're showing an accident and the commentator was suprised there was an accident as there are speed cameras on the road.
I give up.

Lots of the stuff on the programme actually contradicted the "speed kills" and "speed cameras reduce accidents" theme anyway (programme editors a bit thick ?) :
1) Accidents in South Yorks up 40% despite massive increase in speed cams ( ahhhh
... so to use the "correlation = cause " twisted logic of the Govt . : the cameras must have caused the accidents)
2) FAtal bike / car crash : caused by biker being drunk / drugged / no brake pads (mmmm ... so speed not the prime cause then
)
3) Interviewed Scamera operator seemed rather disappointed ( FFS !!!! ) that nobody was speeding past his camera - mentioned that some days they get mega £ k revenue : "some days we make £xxxx" :gleeful grin: - naling the lie that the Scamera partnerships would actually like drivers not to speed .

Yep, complete load of bollocs that contradicted itself all the way through. Speed this Speed that, cameras here, cameras there. Oh 40% increase in fatalities....

Even the copper manning the scamera van had three points.... (And he was a traffic cop on overtime...)
The whole policing policy needs review.
P.S. I cannot beleive the cop let that 98mph motorway speeder WASTE his time for 40 mins pleading not to get done. I would have given him more points for trying to pervert the course of justice

It was repeat of one that was on last year...
"If they reduce speed by 1mph - it saves a life !"
Ja .... we know it does NOT!
Und dann we had the chief cop state the obvious...that it does not catch the dangerous, drunk, untaxed und people who commit worse offences than speeding l ... like driving on the wrong side of the road....(this was after they filmed someone on Stocksbridge do this - but
... he was still at 60 mph....
Und despite the SPECS ... the motorbiker caused accident ...riding bike at 120 mph whilst completely bloot mit cannabis und drink ..und bike had not brakes either. No scam can detect a twazak! Und twazaks ohne COAST skills cause accidents! 
As for the cop in the van... smugly saying he copped over 200 in couple of hours or so ...proud of the cash he generated. Muppet had also been copped for 72mph in a 60 mph zone ..... No matter ... his lucrative overtime sting more than covered the cost for him.....
Und as for poor young Bort.... the silver hearse mit the corpse late for his flight to his own funeral... It was a classic line "Speeding to the funeral - so disrespectful!"
Once attended funeral where deceased was late: he took a wrong turning. Guy was not known for being punctual in life ...und unfortunately, this was mentioned in the eulogy und I ended up stuffing a hanky in my mouth to try to stifle
Und no-one dared look in eyes of each other or else 
Und as for the whining fool - his poor wifey would have wet her knickers in the 40 minutes or so. There ist a women's portable urinal - Sally Traffic tried it out on the Vine prog a bit back.... She said it was "OK-ish once you got the hang of it."

should add this to his list of "essentials" for the car!

can anyone guess from the lst below what follows this Statement he made?
He said, "..since the SPECS have been installed we have.. "

As he was speaking in a documentary to be broadcast on the BBC you would think he would love the opportunity to trumpet how many lives the cameras were saving...

No Doubt the "Stocksbridge Cock-up"
Had me ranting at the screen (something i always enjoy doing).
The message of the programme was that speed causes accidents. They then showed an accident caused by drink/drugs careless riding and having an unroad worthy bike. This was then followed by lots of reference to camers both fixed and mobile followed by the facts that road deaths had increased since their introduction. It concluded by saying the safety partnerships still had a lot to do to improve road safety!
