Porsche tell me there is no retrofit for the R but believe the sports exhaust retrofit for the Cayman S will fit. Note the word believe, so does anyone know for sure. Thanks

yes you can fit and the S is not the same as the R, the R is a bigger 55mm unit vs the S 48mm

Thanks, do you think that size difference would cause any issue

55mm is more power/noise ie the S one is NOT for the R if you want the full bhp

Is the PSE really noticeable over a stock exhaust though? I was a bit concerned mine didn't have it but then reading many posts in different forums, a lot right it off as being a disappointment. At over £3k as an option I think most opted for an aftermarket system. I think mine sounds pretty decent as-is, not that I wouldn't mind a bit of snap, crackle and pop smile

Having just listened to some YouTube clips of the PSE I realised I am definitely losing out in the aural delight department on my R!
Do you guys that have it fitted hear it nicely from the drivers seat over the (lovely) induction roar or is it more for people outside the cars benefit?
Think I'll be getting in touch with an OPC for a price to fit it, assuming they can?
