Mazda Hoods

Hi, has anyone used Mazda hoods for their roof and if so are the any good

I'm assuming you mean the MX5 hard top. I test fitted one a couple of years ago to see if the fit could be reasonably fettled. I found that it was hopelessly different in size and shut lines.

I should add, if you're asking about the folding soft top the same applies and the Mazda roof fits inside the car so needs a drain gutter to chanel water away at the rear

If you mean the one in Romford, yes.
I had my roof done by them a couple of years ago, they also modified the rear window shape to stop creasing when folded down, which is an option.

It's lasted well, without issue.

No issues on the quality, Mine was supplied and fitted by them.

They do look very competatively priced.....I too am in the market for a new hood.

Regarding the narrower window for the better folding down, do these guys do a square window or just a slightly narrow one with a similar profile? Any pictures?

They have just done mine, with the smaller rear window, and it was £625 fitted. I think it is slightly less if you go with black, but mine was blue so stuck with that colour.

I am also happy with the quality and work completed.

Just checked and mine was done in 2012, £570 fitted and in blue.
So 4 years in and no creases in the window, and it's still clear, and it doesn't leak.

Think it's gonna be Mazda hoods then but fitting it myself.
