New C Class Coupe

The new C Class coupe looks great, certainly looks like a baby S Class Coupe.

Confirmed Petrol Engines of C180,C200, C250 & C300. C300 pushing out 245 BHP which is the model I think I might look at getting!

That does look very nice and the interior is lovely (except for the iPad style screen - why are all the manufacturers using them now?).
From the rear and rear 3/4 view it looks a lot like the current VW Passat CC though.

There was a german report somewhere drag racing the SLK300 against the SLK350. One has a 2.0 4 cylinder and the other has a 3.5 V6. The 350 couldn't shake the 300 over the mile runway.

The turbocharged 2.0L has the same torque as the N/A 3.5 V6, 60bhp less though.

I think some of the BHP deficit was overcome by the advantage of the 9G gearbox vs the 350 which still has the 9G.

Hopefully they eventually roll out the C450 coupe with the twin turbo V6. That's the ideal one for me.
