This is the Aero 8GTN. I have sold the Matt Black and Yellow Series 4 Aero to make way for it. Still have the Lancia, Ferrari & Tesla.
I have the Series 5 on order. Once that is built will look at whether the Ferrari makes way or whether I find additional garage space.
The GTN is unlike any other Aero. I need to have it Dyno'd as I've been told the actual figures put out for it were quite downplayed by the factory. The Alpina built 4.36 litre engine is a revelation as well compared to the standard offerings which were 4.4 litre and now 4.8.
In 2002 Morgan entered Le Mans with a De Walt liveried car which got a lot of positive attention despite having to retire around 17.5 hours in and 181 laps completed. In 2004 Morgan went back and was very successful, completing the 24 hours and winning a lot more fans. This is car 10 of 11 built to meet the requirements of the Le Mans entry which was to have a similar car available to the public (there was going to be 15, don't know why only 11 were built, perhaps an issue with getting the Alpina engines).
