But on the 15th September for the 75th anniversary of victory in Battle of Britain, an estimated 40 Spitfires and Hurricanes and Blenheims from across the UK, USA and Europe will come to Goodwood Aerodrome !

That's brilliant cheers! We're stopping down for the week after the Revival so we'll be in the right place at the right time for a change!

Who's going tomorrow? Have just spoken with the club, they're expecting 20,000+ people[!]. The circuit's walk-able between Madgewick and Lavant, parking in car parks C & D...can't wait to see these superb machines airborne...39 Merlin and Griffon engines tout en masse!

I will be there with a couple of friends. The planes looked good on the ground over the weekend. It is worth watching the Channel4 programme from last night before tomorrow.

Anyone know for sure which runway they'll be taking off from? I assume it'll be 24, especially in view of the strong SW winds forecast for tomorrow, but would be good to know where to head for once we're inside.

Looks like Battle Brollies at the ready, there's a break in the weather with winds easing between 10-13.00hrs, so the aircraft should okay...

Fingers crossed for the weather. We have seen a few of the planes arriving recently...cannot wait to see them taking off in waves. It will be amazing.

I'm all set.. leaving at around 9.30 from Farnborough... not taking any of the old cars because of the weather, so I'll be in the GolfR.

It is still quite breezy down here at the moment, although it "should" die down a bit as the morning goes on.
