Dear all,

Sorry asking lots of questions about the car. Hopefully not too much of a pain!

The Murci is getting rather hot at the rear and it seems someone has not refitted the heat protection panel, this may be due to having a non standard exhaust. I plan to make one, grateful if anyone could take the time to photograph the panel from the engine bay down towards the exhaust.

In addition, a couple of hoses are looking poorly and I plan to exchange all for silicon over the winter. Do I need to remove the engine and has anyone done so?

Finally, I plan to replace some of the under body panels as two have been damaged, does anyone have experience of doing this?

Regards,

John

John, if you check out the eurospares site apart from finding the part numbers, you can usually see how its screwed/bolted etc together.

I've got one of my underbody panels (osf nose) to replace on my diablo, and it just looks like it screwed in.

Hope this helps

Thanks Davo,

I have found the part and I definitely have a non standard exhaust fitted. I have spotted the bolts positions so it off to the design board for a bit of sketching.
