Where can I pick electical source near battery for cut-outs
Discussion
I've been slow getting my cut-outs fitted on my VXR8
I plan to take the electrical feed from one of the connections near the battery terminals. Can anyone advise which of the connections is suitable? I've photgraphed the positive end of the battery and its connections, below.
Many thanks, Steve

You really want a switched live, rather than a constant live - or else the cutout controller will always be on. How about the live feed for the amplifier? It should have sufficient duty, and will be switched off with the ignition.
Okay that sounds reasonable, thanks. Where is this power source accessible?Cheers, Steve
Here is the cable and connector that is behind the battery and connects to the amplifier.
Can anyone advise which is the switched power wire?
thanks

If you have a multimeter or voltmeter then it's pretty easy to check them.
Take the plug out, turn the car on to first switch position, and identify/note any pins that have 12v to them. Then turn the car back off, and see which ones of those are no longer live. It's often a yellow wire, and the earth is usually brown or black on cars.
