I've been thinking about this project for some time now wondering how to fit the Sierra Cosworth 4-pots to the 'S' without using spacers of altering the caliper as I have seen done elsewhere yikes

The answer I came up with was to replace the standard hubs with Sierra Cosworth RWD units so that the caliper and 283mm x 55 disc should be a straight fit. The hubs look the same as the standard ones so should fit the 'S' wishbones but I haven't tried that so can't confirm for certain that it will work.

These are ABS hubs but it seems simple enough to blank off that hole. I don't have any discs but measuring up with a ruler suggests that the 283mm x 55 disc would fit.

Anyway, having now driven round Spa and Millbrook and found that I'm driving well within the limits of the 260mm discs I can't see the point of pursuing this project and I'm going to upgrade the rears instead.

So, if anyone has a pair of Cosworth RWD hubs and discs (the solid 273mm x 33.2mm discs) and would like to do a swap please let me know. Alternatively If you would like to take over this project PM me and we can discuss.

I believe the taper in the sierra hub was changed to accommodate the lower ball joint used on the S wishbones - it doesn't use the standard sierra taper.

Can't you simply use a standard Sierra ball joint then?
