Cross-post from another forum...

There is a 5000 Euro reward for information leading to the return of the white Porsche 964 stolen yesterday from the Burgstube hotel in Nurburg.

It could well still be in the area, as trucks can not use the Autobahn until this evening, so whilst it's wet and you're not lapping, get out there and look!

Pictures and a video of the car arriving are below.

If you have information you can call: 0049 (0) 170 8080256

Please share this post to spread the word as far and wide as possible.

This car belongs to my friend, OP just shares the information. Specific to this car is, that all its external body panels except roof and doors are made of carbon fibre. Police said that 6 cars are stolen within last month from Nürburg area. So be careful when you bring your valuable car over there, it happened in daytime and in place with many people around. Those bds will run out of luck one day, however smart they are. Hopefully it happens sooner than later.

There is usually a lot of expensive or rare cars around the ring...and with the rising cost of some models I hope this is a temp blip only.

Hope the car above gets found and the culprits caught

That's a pretty individual car, you would have thought with enough Facebook action somebody would notice it even if it is another colour by then...

Update, car was spotted Monday evening @19.30 in Netherlands, between Utrecht and Eindhoven. It was transported on open trailer with German numberplates. Chase is on, help from Dutch speaking members to spread the word in their language internet communities is appreciated.

It's a pretty unique car.

Short of stripping it for parts or racing at your own private circuit it's not going to be hard to spot.

Not crime of the century- the criminals must be a bit dim taking such a conspicuous car and not even transporting it in a concealed trailer. Glad they got caught anyway......

Saw this car back at the Ring, I believe last weekend. Good to see it back in it's habitat.

The German cops were quite on this, just after the 964 was pinched I collected a GT3 from 'ring to bring back to blighty, got pulled within a couple of miles.

A white 911 with no Id plates being transported, no probs I had all the right docs etc, so no issues with the pull & good they were on the case, we have had a white Porsche stolen recently he said, I know I said, it was from my mates hotel car park!
