I really need to lose weight having touched 87kg recently, been going to the gym more frequently (4-5 times a week) as well as really watching what I eat. I've lost nearly 4kg in a month.

Now I'm a total sceptic about "super foods" etc.

But a friend of ours has recently gone on a diet. She was finding it pretty hard, but it was suggested to her she try Aloe juice, just 25ml twice a day.

It accelerated her weight loss dramatically.

Anybody tried Aloe juice as an aid to to weight loss, or is it as I suspect, buncombe

Like most Wonder Supps, I suspect it's nothing more than snake oil and not worth the packaging it comes in.

Your best bet is using My Fitness Pall to track calories and carry on with the exercises. No wonder food/drink required.

Eat less & move more that's how you lose weight, potions of the internet don't work (or the ones that do have consequences)

Ask your friend to cite the peer review study behind her thoughts, or even detailed findings from her controlled weighing's, its just anecdotal waffle

Its more than likely bullst/snake oil.

No, it didn't. She probably stepped up her exercise or ate less.

Anyway, I can sell you 10 bottles of diet water for £15 (normally £20) since you're a PHer.

I started taking it when I have ulcerative colitis, It didn't 'fix' me but made life a whole lot more bearable.

can't comment on weight loss, maybe it moves the post a little faster ?

Have we finally moved on from Coconut water?!?

I'm sick of the stuff now. Although In four weeks I managed to lose 8 stone, 12 inches off my waist, and best of all now have a full head of hair again.

It's a miracle.
