Panasonic TM700 (2010) vs HC-VX870
Discussion
Folks,
If I could have a moment of your time.
I currently own a TM700 camcorder. It 5 years old now. At the time it was at the top of its game and retailed for £800. It is out of its 5 year warranty, it did have a few lens issues which resulted in the lens needed to be replaced twice. Overall its solid, looks and feels good to use. The quality is good however I do notice the grains when playing back on my PC.
I currently do not own a 4K video recording device.
I was wondering if the step up from the TM700 to the VX870 is worth the £630 cost. Is the quality that much better, both in video and sound. I will not be using it to take pictures. I use if it for family videos.
Kind regards,
LP
