Heated Rear Screen

Both of the contacts have become detached from the screen. One does not have any metal on it.

Bad luck, looks like you need a new element, but I am not sure iif that can come without a new rear windscreen!

I don't know much a bout soldering!

Mine was damaged when I purchased the car. The Dealer tried to "stick" the contact back on, but to no avail.

I am now waiting for a new rear screen...

You CAN'T solder it back on.

Mine fell off so I had to stick it back on with glue that was suitable for glass. I then bought some liquid silver from a car spares (£8 if I remember for a little bottle), and painted this over the element/glue/glass etc. This was done so as to let the current flow through.
