Anyone know how to remove the head unit want to get it repaired

I'm sure that Roger (S800) took his apart to have it dipped, and GaryH took his out and replaced it with an upgraded one. SendthemaPM,if they don't see this soon. smile

The front just pulls off with a bit of persuasion. Best way is to open the ashtray below put your fingers under the bottom and pull with ever increasing force till it moves. I'm not sure how you remove the back part though the wiring plugs are behind the trim panels on the drivers side. Remove the cover in the drivers footwell above the pedals by the air vents by pulling down then the entire plastic part under the column pulls down also. Go careful with the clips they are hard to buy I had to get some from Aus when I broke one tho I do have a s few spares now. Once those panels are removed I believe you can just remove the panel on the side of the centre console by pulling also. This should expose the wiring plugs which you can then remove. Presumably at that point it will be apparent how the actual head unit itself comes out smile
