Fellow geeks, rejoice! FFVII has, this morning, been released in the app store for iPhone and iPad. I haven't played this game since those heady days with my PS1. This is a direct port of the PC version so no fiddling with the graphics or the storyline.

I've got it downloading now. I hope it's as enthralling as I remember it. Chocobo incest FTW!

Now that is good news. Something worthy on the ipad.

Great! I think. redface

I'll inevitably pick this up despite currently playing through it already on the vita, planning to buy the PS4 revamp and having a save somewhere on an old PS2 memory card. hehe

Wow, can't believe that something which was cutting edge only a relatively short time ago can now be played on a phone. I loved this game the first time round and spent an ungodly amount of time on it. Might be time to dust of that ipad that's been sat around being a paperweight for quite a while. Thanks for the heads-up, Bahamut summons ftw! smile

It's the Ifrit animation that sticks in the mind.

Wow, 1997 so almost! Still amazing to think how far we've come though, I remember being gob-smacked at the sheer size of the game and the graphics at the time. Feeling old too now smile
