Porsche warranty - what you can and can't do
Discussion
I've just got a 981 Cayman, with 2k on the clock and an OPC warranty until Dec 2017.
The car is on a PCP so i'm not that fussed re re-sale value as it'll be getting swapped at some point in the future.
My question is what can and can't I do in terms of the warranty ?
Examples as follows: -
1) - Do pads / discs have to fitted at an OPC or can I use a Porsche specialist ?
2) - Do tyres have to be fitted at an OPC or can I use a local tyre place (N rated tyres obviously) ?
3) - If I was to get a PORSCHE side-door decal fitted (not purchased by or fitted by an OPC) would that invalidate the warranty ?
4) - Assume servicing will need to be done at an OPC as that would effect the GFMV final price.
Apologies for some pretty obvious questions.
Gav.

I asked specifically about the tyre replacements when I bought the car and was told any garage can do it, and it won't invalidate the warranty, provided they are N rated tyres.
...and I can confirm those official tyres are available from Black Circles £100 cheaper (each) than Porsche charges. Gassing Station | Boxster/Cayman | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
