One notable PHer is going to Beaulieu in the form of MakoV12 who's not around it seems to post today……..
He mailed me the other day to see if I knew anyone that was going,I said you might be there so if you go keep your eye out for the Mako Beast on display…..

Yup, I'm going - Lancaster Sevenoaks have organised a bit of a run out, so will doubtless be a good spectrum of Astons alongside some of Jardine Motors other holdings!
Going to be an interesting trundle down the M3 with lots to see.
Having just spent 3 hours washing the motor this afternoon, I have guaranteed that it will pi$$ it down and be really muddy. Sorry everyone!

What a grand day out - fairly heavy rain as I drove passed Winchester at around 9:30 which stayed with me until Beaulieu, but the rain eased at around 1200, before breaking into a lovely afternoon. Some great cars to see, and a hearty well done to the TVR Sagaris which got "Peoples' Choice", largely because it was a loud hooligan of a car!
Definitely would do it again, and a pleasure to thrash the V12 down the road (albeit for only a few hundred yards!). I think the crowds enjoyed it.
More Lambos than I've ever seen in one place before, so much so it was difficult to tell them apart.
Wokkadriver's top tip - if you aren't sure what you're looking at, ask a 12 year old boy. There were hundreds there and their car knowledge was frankly encyclopaedic!

Agree, it was a fantastic day. It's the fourth time I have attended this event and this was by far the best organised with the best turnout of cars.Definitely would do it again, and a pleasure to thrash the V12 down the road (albeit for only a few hundred yards!). I think the crowds enjoyed it.
