£300 Mk3 Golf Gti

Picked up this Golf Gti for £300 with MoT until Feb.















Its not perfect by any means though.







Rear suspension is shot, might just be dampers, not checked yet. Exhaust is blowing slightly which isnt too big a deal either.

Just the crack im worried about.

Edit: Quickly looked at the folder of history, wasnt much there except new starter and battery and the last 2 MoT's

Looks an alright buy for £300. Least suspension parts are cheap and easy to get, good scope for improvement there as well.

As for the screen just get it changed on your insurance shouldn't affect your no claims.

Bought 2 shocks for £25 and a front engine mount for £7. Engine had a lot of play and rear shocks are completely burst.
