New Owner V8V

Blimey. Took the plunge. New V8V purchased last week for September delivery. Tungsten silver, manual. Have lusted in a near sexual way over AM's for decades, and it feels surreal that I am shortly to be an owner.

Thanks to the forum for invaluable advice without it even realising. Taken a week to be allowed to post though??

What I've learnt to date:

If you own a V8 don't drive a V12. Disappointment awaits.
Buy Grants book - done
Contact Paddy for detailing - done
Remove fuse 22
Love your car - always.

Just can't wait. Only downer is away on business to the 12th. Won't be able to sleep. Just like Christmas as a kid.

Congratulations! (If it's a new one it's fuse 15 in the boot fuse box, remove cover on the right hand side). Halfords fuse tool highly recommended.

Seriously. It's too many. I am like a little kid. Spend hours at work googling anything AM related. On the plus side the warnings from my IT manager about googling sites with inappropriate content have declined.

Has your dealer included a half day at Milbrook on one of the drive days? If not ask them nicely if the'll include you on their next dealer day;) so you can get to push a Vantage while still running your in .

Tungsten is a fantastic colour. Mine is a roadster and the colour changes so much depending on the light. You are going to love this car!

I think most of us have been long term wannabe's and it's a great feeling when the deed is done - congratulations! My V8VR was Tungsten too, it's the perfect colour and compliments the body shape really well.
