Whats the song?

Please someone put me out of my misery. You know when you get a song in your head but you can't think of the artist? Well my quandry is along those lines but I can't think of the song or the artist, I'm looking for a certain video. I'm sure its by an American band (the video is at least) & the song/video is about her leaving him & him crossing the continent to find her. The relevance is that at the end he & his mates drive up a cul-de-sac where shes living in hot American muscle cars (Camaro, Mustang, etc, etc). Its doing my head in trawling video channels & youtube trying different bands in the hope it will jump out but nothing yet so I've turned to the brethren here to help me.
