Hi guys,

What fluid are you all using these days in your GKN differentials?

This is what I use:




It's the recommended stuff. I drained my diff last year and filled with this. Can't say whether it is good or bad but it has done the job so far. I suppose you know the filler plug is a sh!t to get to and better accessed with the exhaust off. Pete

Thanks for the advice.
Mine has got the rear fill position too, which as you say is sh@t, I am thinking of removing the tank and drilling the the bulkhead for access.

Seems a little excessive TBH. Dropping the exhaust is relatively simple and also gives access to grease the prop. Once the exhaust is off the fill plug is accessible - check its not seized before you drain it. I use a big syringe to fill it and whilst it's a pita it's not the hardest job to do.
