youngest griff driver

im buying me dads griff in about 20 months time so will i be the youngest griff driver with his own griff. im 26 when the big day comes, any insurance suggestions please

I'm 27 and Peart were the cheapest for me by a long chalk. That's with 3 points and an "incident" so you may find others cheaper.

I think (if memory serves me correctly) I had a Griff at 23 . Now considerably older but still have a Griff!

'A Manning' seemed to be the cheapest broker around but when compairing the TVR to similar performance cars the insurance is a bargain.

I'm hoping to get one before I'm 24, (I'm 24 in 5 months). Got to sell the S first then sort a few things first. Probably won't happen but one can dream. I did have my S3 at roughly 21.

dunno. but my Ginetta is basically a lightweight road legal version of a griff and I bought that at just gone 22

I bought a Griff before the motor car was even invented, spent some time in various reincarnated states before building up enough Karma to come back as a human and pick the car up in time for my 2nd birthday.

Not really of course... Just using the power of suggestion.

On a potentially more helpful note: I bought my Chim when I was 25 and Privilege were the cheapest by a long chalk.

Try Classicline in Hinckley, Leicestershire they do limited milage policies if that suits, certainly some very competitive quotes - would be interesting if they are also for someone in their 20's. - Let me know if you need the number.

I bought my Griff at 24 and insured it with Elephant as my existing policy was with them. Now i'm 25 and the policy is with Mannings.

A lot of the usual insurers won't touch a under 25 year old. But specialists like Footman James, A Mannings, and others which a search will produce the names of are much more reasonable.

bought a tuscan last year, only 22. insurance was £3000, not bad for my age. shopped round for 2weeks, got it down to 2 insurers.

Not a griff but Dan who comes to TVRCC Suffolk got his press car 350i(with the 390 engine)when he was 18 if I remember correctly and has driven it ever since (you out there Digga?)

I'm 22 and have just got a Chimaera - insurance is about £1800 and I'm hoping that it will drop a bit for my renewal in May...

Not exactly relevant, but no doubt Griff4.0 will be "ACTING" like a 4 year old, (even though he is due his OAP bus pass any day now)

Re your insurance on a TVR Griffith, try Tesco Online, or Elephant online, as they seem to be very sensible on the premiums.
