Have just given the s2 a service and fitted a power boost valve, on reading the instructions it says that I may need to make the engine run richer by turning the adjuster screw in by up to a quater of a turn.
Leaving it as set by the factory I took it for a spin and not to sure if its made a noticable difference to be honest, but when warmed up the tickover is quite lumpy and is around 750rpm.the spark plugs are a nice tan colour.should I richen it up slightly, and will this increase tickover?

Tan colour is good, if you gotoo far you will increase bore wear and foul the plugs.

I`ve driven up to wales today and have just checked the plugs and are a very light tan, so have wound in the adjuster screw by a quarter of a turn to make it richer as per the instructions, so I`ll go for a run tomorrow and see if this improves it any.
I have found today though that if decelerating in 2nd into a corner, and putting on the power coming out it has a bad flat spot before it jerks and then accelerates as normal, any ideas on what causes this and how to get over it?
