I'll make that descision at the time, depending on the best candidate for my constituency. The Lib Dem MP who has been in has done a lot for the area, however if they were in power it would be a different matter.

They have been handed the best chance for years but haven't appeared to try and capitalise on it.

Won't be voting Labour but no idea who to choose out of the rest.
It was much easier when I was in Scotland, you just vote for the loonies in the SNP.

Whilst this is how the system should work in an ideal world , the unfortunate thing about it is ,it splits the current "opposition" vote. Consequently , the large inner city vote / lentalist / new labia holds sway over the majority of commonsense individuals in right thinking "Middle England".

Unless sufficient people realise this and vote Conservative , we will have another majority Labour government , with a split rump Tory/ Lib Dem opposition .

It's the old adage : " Use it or lose it !"

I don't think the Conservatives are ideal, but if I vote, it will be for them I think, to try to help remove Labour. I discovered the other day that someone in my year is going to study politics & economics at uni and is already a member of the Labour party.

Not quite James, Labour probably will be getting my vote after all it was the previous Tory Adminstration that lost us £28 billion on black wednesday.

In reality through regardless of Party Governments can only guide the Country in a certian direction and if the people decide on a different course then it is their will that will decide.

Mind you in case you forgot how about the return of the Poll Tax, 3 million unemployed, 15% Interest Rates

Well I certainly won't be voting Labour.

And yes I'll be voting Tory. Our local guy is a good sort and his replacement seems to be reaonably switched on - although I will need to write her some letters questioning her on her take on various aspects of society.

I'll vote for the candidate that thinks most like me.

Contrary to what you may think about the UK at present, a lot of the problems started with Mrs Thatcher and her crazy ideas. She caused the underclass who have no respect for people's property.

I couldn't agree more. Yes you have to take general politics into account. But equally important is whether or not, when an issue is raised in the House of Commons, will your MP vote the way you would have done had you been there and eligible to do so.

Rather chew razor blades than help put Blair back in power, but my MP is pro car, a bloody hard worker, has helped me personally more than once.....

This lot have raised £20 million from "Scameras" and froze the Classic Car "Tax Exempt" at 1973! They introduced Bus lanes in the fast lanes of our motorways!

And that is just a few reasons not to vote "T@ss@@s" (sorry, I ment not so New Labour!)
