Wife's Birthday at the end of Nov and her best friend's in mid Dec in Stockholm.

Last Nov we were in Venice and found a brilliantly quirky place which was recommended by Al Covo as they were shut.

Any ideas pls folks?

Thanks in advance.....

My favourite restaurant in Stockholm is PA & Co. They only take bookings on the day, from 3pm. It's not 'fancy' as such but is very good.

Were you after something more special? Stockholm has a few higher end places now.

Many thanks.... it is a 50th trip for two nights. We are staying very centrally and there are 6 of us. We wanted one higher end night and one quirky brilliant night smile

Were thinking about this for the higher end (price wise) night: http://ekstedt.nu/english/ as not typically Michelin type.

To give you more of an idea, last year (for the Mrs's Birthday trip) we couldn't get in to Al Covo in Venice and went to CoVino instead - bizarre and brilliant: http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant_Review-g18...

Really don't know what to expect in Stockholm and I am charged with organising it!!! frown
