Hi all, just wondering if anyone on here has managed to get a monaro VXR on a multicar insurance policy? i currently have 2 separate policies for my monaro and sprinter van (private use only) which cost around £1200 for both per annum but im currently thinking of buying a small cheap runaround (polo/corsa) as well and i dont fancy starting a third policy from scratch. any advice much appreciated.

We have our Monaro insured with Admiral on a multi-car policy, all modifications declared & they've have been very easy to deal with.

Had my vxr8 with admiral multicar along with two other cars, good price for first two years - then they tried to shaft me on year three where it was cheaper to insure separately.
Did that for a couple of years and now back with admiral again as they were competitive again - no doubt they will try to ream me again in the future.

Same story for me. Had been with Admiral for about 9 years, 3 or which were the multicar with the Monaro, Alfa and a Clio. Randomly the premium spiked up, ended up insuring the Monaro and Alfa with Elephant and Diamond respectively, both Admiral subsidiaries...

Strange old thing.

Always been very good prices though.

I have my Monaro on an Admiral multi-car policy.

Made a bit of a difference to the price but not much.

9 years no claims, 2k miles a year and garaged.... £550. I paid about £700 the previous year on a separate policy when it wasn't garaged and doing 10k miles a year.

Monaro 5.7l, with mods £283 fully comp. Wifes Yaris £179 fully comp. Put wife as named driver on Ro and reduced premium by £200 smile that's with Admiral multi car.

What everybody else has said,Admiral aswell although again bumped price up a bit until I said I got a cheaper quote from elephant which is the same company working from same offices so Admiral then matched the price.

Had an Admiral multi car for a few years with 5 cars on, one is VXR8.
Every year I go on line, get individual quotes and ring them. This year I reduced my bill from £1500 to less than £1100 with them.

And also I tried two of the companies 'that dont use price comparison sites'
(aviva and direct line) and their quotes were rubbish.
Avia's web site wouldn't allow you to qoute on more than two cars on a multicar policy!!

I use Direct line and the VXR was about £250 with my (Late) Laguna costing more. Direct Line do insist on a tracker too which is about £150. The Mrs car is also on the same group although each car has it's own individual paperwork as well as renewal dates.
