Wedge 2.8 battery?
Discussion
Anyone know a replacement battery which will fit in the narrow tray of the wedge?
A friend was in need of a narrow battery in his modified triumph and I showed him the one in the Tasmin. He went off to several motor factors armed with the number, only to come back empty handed.
Concerned me slightly for when my battery decides to pack up!

I bought one last year from Lucus auto centre, they had the listing for a 350 one which I went for. "Better output" only £22 too. Better than any Halfrauds outfit.
Best of all I dident need it. The interior light was left on as i did not close the door correctly.
Its now sat in the boot,

I went to my local factors with max dimensions and the largest capacity they could find in their catalogues, that would also fit my 1981 280, was a Motaquip VBZ66 (430CCA). Was a special order but cost about £40. Much bigger capacity than I could get off the shelf. Seems to be up to the job but I do keep a conditioner connecetd to it.
