Dash appart, alarm fix.

Took my entire dash appart last night, a fairly easy process. In attempt to fix the alarm, but found that the wire in the rubber door seal was broken hence the alarm failure.

So bit of a waste taking the dash appart but got the alarm fixed though, yippe!!

Also did a little bit of sound proofing under the dash at the same time, helps prevents any further rattles.

What did you do to quieten it? Fill it with that expanding squirty foam stuff?

What symptoms was your alarm displaying? Is it a Gemini unit? My alarm is playing up on a 92 car, the door locks have stopped working and the alarm goes off after about 5 minutes
