good question - I live on the same road as the festival entrance pretty much (A64) but there are no signs for park and ride just pick up and drop off for festival buses - there is a local Tesco that gets alot of muddy footfall over the weekend...
I applied for local resi tickets but got nowhere. would love to see mumford live but guess the back garden will have to do...

Well, in the interests of closing this thread off just in case anyone has the same question next year; the journey up was a piece of cake - very little traffic all the way into the main car parks. We arrived about 12ish so probably around peak time for day visitors?
Getting out 12 hours later was a bloody nightmare on the other hand.
Still, it didn't detract from what was an absolutely brilliant day!

We went to Reading and we were glad we parked in a carpark in town! £15 all day, 10 minute walk into the town cnetre and out of the car park and on the way out of Reading in 30 seconds. It was a long walk along the Thames back to the day car park before anyone had to contend with driving out (we ended up having to walk that way to get in but right out of the arena to get out)Getting out 12 hours later was a bloody nightmare on the other hand.
