No Plates

Could anyone give me a quick heads up on what the likely fine would be for failing to display front/rear number plates? This would be on a taxed/mot'd/insured vehicle just without number plates.... and no I won't be removing them from the Saab

IIRC it's less than showing illegally spaced plates i.e. £60 tax, sorry fine and no points, don't wuote me though

My understanding is

No plate £60
illegal plate £60
Dirty legal plate £1000

Dirty plate bit was brought in during camera prototyping

Points mean prizes, not to sure on that bit, probably to be varied anyway soon.

Just say they got nicked while at the supermarket or motorway services, not had a chance to report or replace, don't think that would work on your SAAB tho, mine maybe.
