so planning a comeback but not being too upto speed on the market where will the following be in 12 months time

- 2006 MY 60k mile c2s 997
- 2005 MY 60k miles c4s 997

Assume both are identical spec-wise apart from the obvious/necessary differences

Would i be right in thinking that only the 06 car may be eligible for a Porsche warranty assuming the small print re mods, tyres etc is observed?

Isn't the official warranty up to 9 years old?

If all else is equal, the C4S will probably hold its value better.

Is it a big stretch to look for a Gen 2 997 - might be a better buy?

no doubt its the more prudent buy but the outlay difference looks to be north of 10k and it might be a stretch...
