Just an observation guy's.

Have noticed in the past when looking at VXR8's for sale, as you do, a few have discs that are non grooved, most have the grooved discs.

So, when the time comes to replace mine, I will use grooved discs, as already fitted.

So my question is, do they really need to be grooved, I do know that grooves help with cooling.

Regards.
Dave.

The grooves (like cross-drilling) are intended to allow gas created at the pad face to escape - which reduces the chances of glazing.

Non-grooved discs are obviously non-std.
